Cuban-American singer and songwriter Camila Cabello first rose to fame as part of girl group Fifth Harmony, who formed in 2012 on the reality television singing competition The X Factor US. After achieving worldwide success with the band, Cabello departed in December 2016 to embark on a solo career. Cabello went on to release several collaborative singles, including "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly, which reached number four on the US Billboard Hot 100. Supported by its lead single "Havana", which reached number one in a number of countries, including the UK and the US, Cabello released her Latin-influenced eponymous debut studio album in 2018, debuting at number one on the US Billboard 200.
