Cameron Lew, known by the fiery moniker Ginger Root, is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and songwriter who is known and loved around the world for their “aggressive elevator soul”. Over the past seven years or so, Ginger Root has sculpted a distinctive sound that rises from trailblazing groups like Vulfpeck, Toro y Moi, White Denim, Yellow Magic Orchestra, and Feist. Coming from Huntington Beach, California, the American indie soul talent made an epic entrance in 2017 with the self-released album Spotlight People. Taking the leap to Acrophase Records in 2018, they released a couple more full length mixtapes which were a sensation, including the incredible Mahjong Room in 2018 and Rikki in 2020. And this super exciting tour comes in celebration of their forthcoming release, SHINBANGUMI.
