Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts – Pixies have been selling out stages all around the world since their very beginning back in 1983! With their hard hitting fast paced alternative rock, they have been influencing fellow artists on the scene since day 1. On vocals and guitar – of course Black Francis, guitarist Joey Santiago, bassist Kim Deal, and drummer David Lovering.
Their first big success was in Europe and the UK, before later taking to the hearts of the US… combining their original sound of surreal lyrics, heavy and surf rock… they transformed the music scene at the time and created a whole new genre that was the talk of the town during the 1980's and to this day are many people's greatest inspiration.
With a career that was non stop, within just 10 years they took a much needed break and reunited back in 2004. Since they continue to churn out massive anthems and albums!
