American EDM duo The Chainsmokers, consisting of Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, exploded onto the scene in 2014 with their hit “#Selfie”, which reached number sixteen on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, number three in Australia, and number eleven in the United Kingdom. October 2015 saw the release of their debut EP Bouquet, featuring the single “Roses”, which reached the Billboard Hot 100 top 10, and their following single, “Don't Let Me Down” reached the top 5. The duo's 2016 single "Closer" featuring singer Halsey, peaked at number one in the United States and United Kingdom, and charted in eleven other countries.
