Gareth Emery is gearing up to blow your minds with what he says will be "the most insane lasers ever seen so far in dance music." It’s all happening during his North American tour in 2024. Everyone knows this guy is famous for his mind-blowing light shows, and now he's on a mission to take it up a notch. He's been tinkering away for over a year to give fans an unforgettable experience. Alongside the tour news, Gareth Emery dropped the first track under his LSR/CITY alter-ego, a cover of Madonna's 1989 hit "Like A Prayer."
"This show's been a year in production, and as well as wildly immersive laser and visual experience, we've got an entire body of new music to debut live," Emery said about his upcoming "LSR/CITY V3" tour in a press release. "We're giving people the greatest show of their lives... again."
In mid-November, Gareth Emery dropped another bomb called "house in the streetlight." This track takes you on a journey. It starts with bouncy beats and soothing vocals, then sliding into soft basslines and angelic vibes. Out of nowhere, the bass takes center stage, and we're in for an explosion of synths and basslines that'll have the dancefloor losing it. It circles back to those celestial beginnings before hitting us with that drop again. Long story short, it's a sonic masterpiece - brilliantly produced.
