Snoh Aalegra may have had some rough patches early on in her career. A change of scene and a name change, somehow helped her get back on her feet and redirect her music career path. In July 2014, Aalegra debuts with her new name, Snoh Aalegra, and appeared on Common's tenth studio album, Nobody's Smiling, featuring on the song "Hustle Harder". On 20 October 2017, Aalegra released her debut album, Feels, with features from Vince Staples, Vic Mensa, and Timbuktu. From there, Snoh Aalegra unleashed a musical powerhouse that was too hard to ignore. Her nostalgic sound, vulnerable lyrics, and ethereal charm brought her to a plane where she is now one of the most revered artists of neo-soul and R&B.
