Well WELL WELL L.A - look at us now! We did it again - we made it through another long cold and damp winter (well, almost) and now we can get ready for the warm weather fun to begin! A year guaranteed to be filled with all the BEST concerts and shows right here, up next?? We got Gorillaz pulling up to the Palladium not once but TWICE this February, and yes… we absolutely manifested this one straight from the Metaverse into the physical. Right here on Sunday, February 22nd, we’re seeingThe Mountain Live, Gorillaz new album that LITERALLY doesn’t even release until next month is being played in full.Yep - front-to-back, first-look performance of the show from the world’s most iconic virtual band before the global tour even begins. And we get two nights of it all, like… how did we get so lucky?! We won’t say the strings we pulled and the things we had to say, but no matter: the city of Angels always gets blessed first anyway. And now - all we need is you and your crew!

So, let’s talk nitty gritty. There’s no mistaking the sound, vision, or legacy of Gorillaz. Born from the minds of Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett in the late ’90s over in the UK , the project flipped music culture upside down a the time: a cartoon band with chart-topping hits way before it was popular or normal, these guys felt like the future back then and still do now, Grammy wins coupled stadium-sized singles and hits, they created a universe of characters that somehow feels more real than half the industry did back then and now. From the grimy trip-hop pulse of their 2001 debut, to Demon Days’ insane vibes and brilliance, to Plastic Beach’s eco-synth paradise, to the collaborative chaos of Humanz and Cracker Island — Gorillaz have reinvented themselves (and the genre they invented) every single era. Collabs with everyone in the industry from house music to sultry R&B - no band alive blends hip-hop, electronic, alt-rock, global sounds, and full cinematic lore like this crew does. None - except our jungle kings, of course. 

And now? They’re stepping into their Mountaineering era - how cool!Their brand-new 2026 chapter is filled with an album that is loaded with features, fire, and future classics,  and we get to hear it first, live with the OGS in person, and played front to back.There’s no denying how cool that is, and there’s NO kidding yourself on if you want to go: like uhh, yes!
