KSHMR North America 2026

Known for his sick electro house beats with a touch of Indian heritage, KSHMR is able to turn every single room into an all-out bangin' party. As one of the top-ranked DJs in the world, the man's journey to EDM stardom has been buzzing with hits and standout festival performances. This year, he's got a couple of live sets marked + festivals around the world, one of them is presented by Insomniac as he headlines the Hollywood Palladium before the summer heat in LA kicks in. It's gonna be a wild night you wouldn't want to miss.

The Rise of KSHMR

Originally part of the hi-hop production team, the Cataracs, with Daving Slinger-Vine, Hollowell-Dhar took part in making bog hits, including "Like a G6" with Far East Movement, "Bass Down Low" with DEV, and co-produced various tracks for artists like Selena Gomez.

In 2014, he started producing his own electro house beats, and thus his alias "KSHMR" was born. Gaining massive attention on Bearport and releasing tracks under Spinnin' Records, he soon became one of the industry's biggest rising stars. While he's been putting out heavy bangers, his identity wasn't really known until Tiësto introduced hum at the Ultra Music Festival in 2015. His track "Secrets" with Tiësto and Vassy was a success, generating buzz and attracting new fans of his unique sound.

By 2016, he dropped his first EP "The Lions Across the Field", and began his full-on journey as a big solo DJ.

"The project was already a great start. I added my ideas and it came together pretty quickly. The name comes from a term referring to slum kids in India and places around the world where poverty is so rampant that people begin to stop noticing," KSHMR shared with Billboard about his work.

Gaining awards like "Best Live Act" from DJ Mag, and rising up high in their list of the Top 100 DJs, Hollowell-Dhar is fired up to keep the energies alive and kicking.

In a feature by Billboard Radio China, the man recalls how tough it was to transition from a team to a solo artist, "it feels very risky, but it really was where my heart was, to go and start KSHMR and to do something I felt reflected more of my heritage,"

With music described as "cinematic" and pulls notes & instruments from his Indian heritage, it's all about the story as the beats guide you through a heart-pounding audio feast. He shares that what people gotta do is "look at the scene as a little more abstract than the surface level of whatever genre is in," sharing how he observes what drives people. "When you look at it that way, there are Indian sounds that can drive people in on a more visceral level. There’s a lot that can be done to get the same effect using different instruments that nobody is using."

Creating something so unique, it's clear why fans can't help but race for tickets at KSHMR's shows. Don't miss out on his special set at Hollywood Palladium by booking those tickets now!
