With the release of his debut LP “EARLY LIFE CRISIS,” fans are beaming up with excitement as it’s been a long time coming since his rapid rise with  “Drankdrankdrank” and his mixtape domination with “Bad Ass F*cking Kid.” An album that reflects a generation rushed into adulthood, it tackles all the anxieties, growing pains, and chaos. 

“This is not a PR stunt, or a calculated move,” a grown man says in a promotional video posted on Nettspend’s Instagram account. “Sometimes, things just don't work out the way they're supposed to.”

Life feeling like it's been in a crisis mode? Nettspend’s album announcement came with a phone number, 1-804-ELC-6246. The Fader reports that calling the hotline is met with a somber trombone playing, and then a man soon speaks over a relaxing piano track:

“Well, we tried. There is still so much to look forward to.” Till the album’s March 6th release, there’ll be daily check-ins, “In the meantime, if you have concerns, frustrations, or unresolved grievances, please direct them to the early life crisis damage control hotline after the beep.”

While we don’t have all the answers in our hands, Early Life Crisis points to all the relatable feelings of growing up in unexpected ways. “It channels the pressure, anxiety, and angst of a resilient youth culture navigating a world that hits hard without warning — a snapshot of growing up in chaos,” shared Nettspend’s official store.
