From the late '70s down to 2024, Cock Sparrer has dropped hard-hittng punk rock records that shook radio waves and the internet. Through it all, founding members Colin McFaull, Mick Beaufoy, Steve "Burge" Burgess and Steve Bruce have remained passionate for the rockin' energies. Widely known for their "Shock Troops" and "Guilty as Charged" albums, these fellas have solidified their place in quintessential punk acts to listen to. Now, they're bidding farewell, capping off a long run of legendary punk-rock anthems right in Los Angeles.

A Legendary Run of Punk Rock

Cock Sparrer came to be when Colin McFaull, Mick Beaufoy, Steve "Burge" Burgess and Steve Bruce, having known each other since they were 11, started performing in nightclubs around London. Developing their sound that later became categoruzed as streetpunk or "Oi!", their pub rock and R&B influences made their music stand out in the scene. 

After some record deals that fell through, the band stayed on fire, and reformed in 1982. Releasing "Shock Troops" a year later, which featured their songs "Where Are They Now", "I Got Your Number" and "Riot Squad", the band soon found waves of success. From then on, they kept releasing all-out punk records that struck hearts for their pub rock, glam rock, and raw energies with lyrics that hit right home. Hailed as one of the first Oi! bands out there, these loud and Cockney anthems became legendary pieces in time. 

Coming Back to Say Goodbye

Twenty-five years since their last show in LA, the "Riot Squad" rockers are coming back to play their final shows. "After a 25 year wait, we’re heading back to Los Angeles to play the HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM on SATURDAY NOVEMBER 22nd," the band wrote on Instagram.

Due to much fanfare and demand, it's a city that people have been begging them to come back to. 

"It’s the one city that we’ve been constantly asked to revisit so we expect tickets to fly out. Set your clocks, arm your alarms and make sure you don’t miss out. We’re not touring, so please don’t wait for other shows to be added around this. We just coming to LA for the weekend to have a party with our friends in CA. So get in quickly!"
