With a new double album coming out via 10k/Tan Cressida/SURF GANG Records, the unstoppable pack — EARL SWEATSHIRT & MIKE with Harrison of SURF GANG are coming in strong with 33 tracks on the list, and fans are stoked to get their hands on the explosive record packed with their underground, hip-hop, and trap bangers. As the album comes out on April 3rd, the gang is heading out for a massive HOME ON THE RANGE TOUR this summer.

A project that’s been “many years in the making,” these collaborators have taken the time to hone their craft and collaborative energies. Each artist powerfully shines, and you can definitely tell how they complement each others’ strengths. A taste of what to expect from the new record is available through their new double single “Minty // Earth” — where the switch between the two halves of the track sees Mike & Earl play their minimalist beats, sonic textures, and signature rhythms that’ll have you spotting what each of them are best known for.

In a previous interview with Pitchfork, MIKE shares that he chose the name “Pompeii” because “n***as was so clapped in the studio, the homies was just in crazy positions but, like, frozen.” At the time, he was looking forward to pumping new bangers on stage, and now the time has finally come as the 33-track double record lands this April.

Have you listened to “Minty // Earth” already? Well it definitely showcases these artists’ playing along their strengths — combining sick beats, engaging stories, and hard-hitting attitudes that share the best of both worlds. Moreover, both discs will feature a star-studded roster of guests — Anysia Kym, Jadasea, Na-Kel Smith, and Niontay on the first disc, while Lerado Khalil on disc 2. It’s definitely a promising project as both artists unleash their very best. 

On tour, you can expect all-out performances of their hits and bangers from the new record, and the crowd will definitely go wild.

Coming to Los Angeles, EARL SWEATSHIRT & MIKE with Harrison of SURF GANG are down to share amazing live performances at HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM. With a capacity of 4,000 people, the hall is renowned as a concert venue for intimate yet energy-packed nights.
