The Weightless Tour

Jesse McCartney is taking the weight off of his shoulders, so he's heading out for a coast-to-coast "The Weightless Tour" this fall. With a couple of shows running through November, the "Beautiful Soul" singer is making his huge live-stage comeback. He sure is excited to meet all of his fans once again. Performing his best hits, all-time favorites, and some surprises along the way, The late '90s and early-2000s icon is keeping his legacy alive. 

A New Stage

Back in 2021, McCartney released his fifth studio album "New Stage". The record marked a new chapter in both his personal life and career. Over the last decades, the man has seen highs and lows around his life, serving different roles in different stages in his career. To some, he was that cute vocalist from the '00s boyband Dream Street before his found solo success in pop by 2004. For some Gen Zs, he had a cameo on Disney's The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and became a hot pop start with R&B notes with his top-10 Hot 100 hit single "Leavin'". No matter what role he played in your life, McCartney was definitely that 'beautiful soul' all the way.

Back in 2021, he took a new stage in life, one that coincided with his latest album... a married man. 

"I’ve given myself to so many people over the years. I’ve really been a part of so many people’s lives," McCartney told Billboard. Sharing how he's bound to be part of one person's life in a drastically more meaningful way, it sure is a new stage. "That represents a new chapter, it represents a new stage. That sense of gratitude that I have is just overwhelming."

Since he kicked off his solo career and found his pop music domination era, the man has taken things at a relaxed pace, releasing full-length records when it feels right. Writing songs since he was 16, the man had shared how it gets hard sometimes - needing real-life inspiration, life in betwen albums, and finding stories that are relatable to his listeners. To be able to write songs, he needs life to simply happen. 

"For me, it’s just been great having six years. [Even though] it feels like it’s too long between projects, quite frankly when I look at it on paper. But it is nice to have some time to just experience new things," he shared with Billboard.
