It’s been just shy of three decades since Killswitch Engage descended upon the world with the fire and mayhem of metalcore - the powerful blend of New England hardcore and Swedish death metal. Being credited as one of the trailblazing bands in this genre, they cranked heavy metal up a notch or six, “ignoring any fashionable trends and instead relying solely on skill and expertise to sculpt some of the meatiest heavy metal since the glory days of Metallica and Slayer.” They are rated as “one of heavy metal’s most commercially successful and critically acclaimed acts”, has been hailed by OC Weekly and Ultimate Guitar as the greatest metalcore band of all time, and according to Forbes Magazine, Killswitch Engage “paved the sonic roadmap for what a vast majority of modern metal would use for years to come.”

North American Tour 2026

This summer the heat is going to be next-level - and we’re not talking about the weather. Killswitch Engage has just announced a massive North American tour in support of their 2025 album This Consequence - and if it’s pure brutality, tight riffs, thundering drums, mad dual guitar harmonies, and exhilarating vocal deliveries you were after, this is it. The North American Tour is slated to kick off in early June 2026 in Detroit, Michigan, with stops in Milwaukee, Brooklyn, Washington D.C., Houston, Tempe, and Dallas, among others, on the itinerary, before wrapping up in late June 2026 in San Francisco, California.

It doesn’t quite get better than this. Killswitch Engage will be joined on tour by iconic heavy metal band Machine Head - one of the pioneering bands in the new wave of American heavy metal with face-melting hits such as Darkness Within and Ten Ton Hammer; thrash supergroup Iron Reagan, best known for smashers such as Miserable Failure and A Dying World; and thrash metal band Havok.

All of this will be going down at the iconic Hollywood Palladium this summer! This historic venue has been the home of some of the best live entertainment in the world, and 2026 is going to be off-the-charts! 

The Hollywood Palladium features everything needed for an experience for the books and then some - from cutting-edge lighting and sound to fantastic acoustics, from great sight-lines to modern amenities.
