The band emerged from Illinnois in 1996 but it wasn’t until 1999 they made major headway into commercial success. Mudvayne signed with Epic Records and released their debut album, L.D. 50 in 2000. The album, which spawned two Mainstrea Rock charting singles “Dig” and “Death Blooms,” broke into the Billboard 200. Putting them on the map, the album paved way for the band to find astounding success with their sophomore work The End of All Things to Come, which entered Billboard 200’s Top 20. Their third album Lost and Found, which soared to number 2, spawned the band’s first number 1 charting hit, “Determined,” which also made its way to the Billboard Hot 100 and earned the band their first Grammy nomination.
