It's a made up world, after all. Get ready to feel the highs and lows of living life chasing love as the one and only SAN HOLO kicks off his TRUE LOVE IN A MADE UP WORLD TOUR, in support of his new album of the same name. Known for his emotive future bass and electronica hits, the man introduced his take on the genre with something that he calls “Wholesome Riddim.” An EDM.com feature describes this as “a phrase that captures both the contradiction and the appeal through distorted drops wrapped in shimmering, heart-on-sleeve melodies.”
Through the wonders of his electric beats — stories, emotions, and reality unfolds. Every track represents a page in his life, and it’s packed with relatable feels that’ll get you going hard at his live shows. This time, ‘True Love in a Made Up World’ is taking the stage
Born Sander van Dijck, the man we all know as SAN HOLO packs a lot of heart in his trap and future bass bangers. Having released several records through Spinnin' Records, Owsla, Barong Family, and Monstercat, the man has showcased his dynamic abilities through iconic hits like “Light,” “Existential Dance Music,” “BB U OK?,” and more. Of course, he gained massive prominence with his remix of Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode,” garnering over 200 million views on YouTube. To his name, he also founded his own record label, “Bitbird,” wherein he released a couple of his songs, including “Still Looking,” “Light,” and his debut LP “Album1.”
His “Wholesome Riddim” took shape, debuting the sound at Excision’s Lost Lands Festival in 2024. At the time, San Holo shared that he promptly started working on new music… Now “True Love in a Made Up World” has taken shape, out this June.
“This is gonna be my fourth album and will show a different side of me… who’s ready for the next chapter?!” the man wrote on social media. “I know my music doesn’t always fit in a specific genre but I am so grateful that YOU get it.”
With the tour kicking off this fall, San Holo teased new larger-than-life productions “built around the album’s world,” as a press release reads.
