SLIDE AWAY LA returns for a 3rd year! The dream pop festival curated and headlined by Nothing is back at LA's Hollywood Palladium this May 29 and 30, 2026.
Featuring full sets by NOTHING, who will be performing their 2016 album, Tired of Tomorrow, in full. The return of HUM, following the 2021 death of drummer Bryan St. Pere, with the band honoring his legacy as they pull from 2020 comeback album, Inlet, and throw in classics like "Stars." And, Reading Festival veterans from 1987, Chapterhouse draw from their 1991 album Whirlpool.
With performances by Hum, Nothing, and Chapterhouse on both days, you can also look forward to Ovlov, Mint Field, and Seko on Friday, 29th, plus Ovlov, Cryogeyser, and Terraplana on Saturday, 30th of May.

The dream pop festival curated by Nothing, Slide Away, returns in 2026 for its third year and is now a multi-city event featuring five shows. Two nights in Brooklyn's Paramount, one night in Chicago's Aragon Ballroom, and a final two nights in Los Angeles' Hollywood Palladium.
Co-headliners Hum and Chapterhouse perform all dates, with Nothing performing their 2016 album, Tired of Tomorrow, in full at every stop to mark its 10th anniversary. Special guests will vary by city; NYC includes Swirlies, lovesliescrushing, Bleary Eyed, Manslaughter 777, She's Green, and Warmachine; Chicago features Cloakroom, Sunshy, Total Wife, and Crate; and LA has Ovlov, Mint Field, Seko, Cryogeyser, and Terraplana.
Look out for the hits "Stars," "The Pod," "Why I Like the Robins," "I'd Like Your Hair Long," and "Comrade."
Formed in 1989, they only brought out their debut album, Filth Pimp, in 1991. They earned their breakout with the song "Stars," peaking at No. 29 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart from their 1995 album, You'd Prefer an Astronaut, and their first album chart was Downward Is Heavenward at No. 127 on Billboard 200. This 2026 festival run will be their first full show in seven years.
Biggest Hits: "Vertigo Flowers," "ACD (Abcessive Compulsive Disorder)," "Zero Day," "Bent Nail," and "Catch a Lie."
Formed in Philadelphia in 2010, their debut EP, Downward Years to Come, featured "Downward Years to Come." In 2014 they hit gold with the No. 3 on Billboard Heatseekers, "Hymn to the Pillory" from Guilty of Everything, and just 2 years later landed a No. 1 on Billboard Alternative Airplay with "Vertigo Flowers" from Tired of Tomorrow. They made it onto the Billboard 200 at No. 85 with Dance on the Blacktop in 2018.
Their hits include "Pearl," "She," "Freefall," "High," and "Then It's Over."
From across the pond, in Reading, England, the psych-rock outfit and UK shoegaze pioneers, Chapterhouse, brought out their debut EP, Sunbathing, in 1990 with the epic tracks "Sunbathing" and "Guilt." The following year, Whirlpool hit UK charts at No. 69, with "Pearl" earning an NME Single of the Week. 1993's Blood Music peaked at No. 81, with the song "She" landing a respectable No. 67 in the UK. Disbanding between 1994 and 2008, they made their return with The Cloak of Delusion in 2010 and "Here to Stay." And this 2026 set of festival dates will be their first major stateside shows since the 90s.
Championed by Nothing, their hits are "Blue Rat," "Bad News," "Moth," "Mary Beth," and "All the Way."
A noise rock trio with singer and guitarist Steve Marino, bassist Goldie Zahra, and drummer Dan Molloy, Ovlov are from Bridgeport, Connecticut.
With hits "Reserva Natural," "No Dependo de Ti," "Jefe de Nadie," "Salir Bien," and "Nada Nueve."
This is the dream pop duo of Isabel García and Alberto Castillo that formed in 2015. They earned their first Mexican indie chart hit with "No Dependo de Ti" and the album, Pasar de las Luces. Their US breakout came with Compound and the track "Jefe de Nadie."

From Philadelphia and led by singer and guitarist Noah Weinman, they dropped their debut single single, "Mud," in 2018.

Mexico City's post-rock/shoegaze quartet debuted in 2019 with the EP Niebla and are led by singer and guitarist Ana Laura López.
Hits: "Leather on the Heart," "The Glare," "Pale Yellow," "No Sound," and "In the Absence of Time."
Emerging from Toronto's post-punk, shoegaze underground, they debuted with "Leather on the Heart" in 2023.
Opening back in 1940 with Frank Sinatra and Tommy Dorsey drawing 10,000 fans for its debut swing ball. It was the center of the 1950s-60s Teen-Age Fairs, setting the stage for rock 'n' roll culture for LA youth. It has also been a pivotal venue with 1970s punk featuring The Weirdos, 1980s goth via Christian Death, and 1990s hip-hop with Ice Cube.
A $20 million renovation over 2008 and 2009 was completed with a reopening with Jay-Z and a 12-piece orchestra, as well as restored murals, LED lighting, and an upgraded stage.
