Tauheed Epps AKA 2 Chainz, first known for being one-half of the southern hip hop duo Playaz Circle, alongside his longtime friend and fellow rapper, Earl "Dolla Boy" Conyers. In 2012 2 Chainz signed to Def Jam Records and became a solo artist, with later that year releasing his debut studio album 'Based on a T.R.U Story', which released three hit singles "No Lie", "Birthday Song", and "I'm Different"; which were all certified Gold or higher by the RIAA, along with the album being certified Gold. That year 2 Chainz won the Rookie of the Year and People's Champ Award with his hit single 'No Lie' at the BET Hip Hop Awards.

Signed to Kanye West's record company GOOD Music, Pusha T has released 6 studio albums with another up and coming. Pusha T was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance with his song 'Mercy' featuring Kanye West, Big Sean and 2 Chainz, which is the lead single from the compilation album Cruel Summer.
