Known as the vocalist and lyricist of the renowned band Deftones, Chino Moreno brings the classic rock vibe to the group with his experience and reputation as one of the best alternative bands of their generation. Shaun Lopez is mostly known as a producer, composer, and musician for his former band Far, as he ready the rock splash and brings his A game to every Crosses track they release.
The Crosses were built by the duo as a musical project in 2011. Their reputation in the scene is not questioned since their members, Chino Moreno, and Shaun Lopez, have their names in the industry already. In 2011-2014, they released countless EPs and self-titled releases, including their Debut EP. This 2023, the release of their second album with a major label, Warner, titled Goodnight, God Bless, I Love U, Delete boomed to its peak as it dominated the US charts.
“As producers, you struggle to be inspired if you're using the same thing repeatedly. A piece of analog gear can remove you from the slump and produce great music or art”, Shaun Lopez said on how he facilitated the making of their newest album.
