Indie rockers Metric and Latin Grammy Award-winning Mexican rock band Zoe have united for a co-headlining tour, coming to Hollywood Palladium on Wednesday 6th March 2019! Having recently released their anthemic pop rock album Art of Doubt, Metric have brand new material to bring to the stage, as do Zoe, who released Aztlán, their sixth studio album, in April 2018! The bands will also have support in the form of bluesy alt-rock band July Talk!
Canadian rock band Metric formed in Toronto, Canada in 1998 as a duo consisting of Emily Haines (lead vocals, synthesizers, guitar, tambourine, harmonica, piano) and James Shaw (guitar, synthesizers, theremin, backing vocals). Originally known as Mainstream, the duo self-released their debut EP, titled Mainstream EP, that same year. After changing their name to Metric, the band expanded to include drummer and percussionist Joules Scott-Key in 2000 and bassist, synthesizer player and backing vocalist Joshua Winstead in 2002. Their first official studio album, Old World Underground, Where Are You Now?, was released on September 2, 2003. Throughout its career, the band has won five Juno Awards. Metric has released seven studio albums to date, including 2018's Art of Doubt.
