Orville Pecks' North American Stampede headlining tour, 2024 bucks the fences out of Rabbit Rabbit in Asheville, North Carolina this may, and rides across the nation for a mix of club, theater, amphitheater and festival dates, including 2 back-to-back nights here in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium on September 28th and 29th. And finally galloping into the stables at the Paramount in Brooklyn by mid-October.
To relieve your fears over the cancellations from last year, “I am incredibly happy to be joining the Warner family and getting back on the road this year,” says Peck. “I took a break from last year to focus on myself and even though it was a difficult decision at the time, I’m so happy I did,” he continued. “I feel happier and healthier than I've ever been, and I'm excited to start this new chapter.”
Along with the tour announcement, Peck also revealed his upcoming duets' album, Stampede Vol 1. The new album is due to drop on May 10, featuring a full slate of duet appearances from Elton John, Noah Cyrus, Midland, Allison Russell, Nathaniel Rateliff, Bu Cuaron, and of course, Willie Nelson.
The first single, with Willie Nelson, "Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fond Of Each Other," was not originally Pecks idea to cover. “It was his initial idea for us to do the song together, and I will forever be grateful for his support,” he stated. “As an artist who has sometimes felt excluded from the Country music industry, once Willie Nelson wants to work with you, there’s really nothing the country world can say after that.” “Just getting to be around Willie is so special,” Peck says. “You’d think he would make you starstruck because he is such a legend, but he just emanates joy.”
Known for his impeccable fashion statements, and incredible face masks that made him a mysterious newcomer in the country music scene, helped by his unique alternative side of the country music, Peck quickly became a sensation. His self-produced debut album, Pony, won rave reviews and delivered the singles "Dead of Night" and "Take You Back." by the time he dropped his second album, Bronco, in 2022, he had already carved out a very unique niche for himself in country music.
