Winner of four Grammy Awards and twenty four Latin Grammy Awards (more than any other Latin artist), Residente is a Puerto Rican rapper, writer, filmmaker, producer and founder of the alternative rap group Calle 13. He made his debut in 2005 with the release of the album Calle 13, which was praised by Time Magazine and won three Latin Grammy Awards. To date, Residente has released five studio albums, and his most recent release, “Sexo”, has recently received gold certification.
